UPDATE(S)!!!

Here's the update on everything involving this novel's first book as well as other things...

So I pushed two chapters together to create one since one of them might have only been a page or two long. Actually, what really happened was I was getting a little too into writing the other day and I wasn't paying attention to what I was writing and I wrote a chapter inside of another one so I had to take a chapter I was planning out of the plan or else I would have had to remove about seven pages... To make a long story short, I will only have 21 chapters instead of 22.

Right now I am currently on Chapter 17: Cailleach's tale of Jealousy. After that I will only have four more chapters to write, an epilogue, and part of book two's first chapter. Also, I will be looking for a traditional publisher soon.

I'm hoping to have book one done before July. If I just sit down and work hard on it I should actually have it done by the end of next month.

As for everything else I'm either working on or planning...

EVERYTHING ELSE:

Anthrocon news!!! I WILL BE THERE!!!! AND I WILL BE SUITING!!!!

~Clears throat~

Anyways, I will be staying at the Double Tree during the duration of Anthrocon. My besties; Aestival and Shinro (Not using actual names for specific reasons), and I; Leba, will be there July 4-7. So, if you're a suiter and you're going to be there then try to find us! We would love to hang out and meet more furs out there!

As for commissions:

Commissions are still open! They will be open up until the time of Anthrocon. So, if you want to do something special for someone then let me know! Right now I have ten slots open and plenty of time to draw something up with. I have a price chart here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4196965/

Also, feel free to check my gallery out! I will have new pictures up there soon. And for a first time ever, buy two commissions and get a cute freebie!! You can't go wrong with that deal!

Time:

I do have a bit of extra time on my hands now that I'm settled in a bit more to this new life of mine. I'm getting back on the right track, so I'll be writing a bit more. I've gotten back into my drawing as well. I actually sang out loud at work in the parking lot during my break today. I had no idea I was loud enough for people to hear, but when I got back to work at least I knew it sounded good. lol. But, I'll let you all know what's going on in my next post. Look for it next week! <3

A Peek at Chapter 17

Cynric had set several small willow branches in a pile beside himself on the floor. James had brought his raw sapphire collection while Connor and I had brought our findings. We set everything at the center of the table. Raven examined everything we had brought. Some of the findings she kept while others she tossed to the side. She had several small piles she had put together with one of each item. She went from pile to pile testing the strength and flexibility of the willow branches as well as the quality of the skull, feather, and raw sapphire. She narrowed her piles down to a set of three.

Why has there been various items of this sort brought to a table? What are they planning on doing with them? And how come only three sets of everything worthy of whatever it is they were wanting them for? Makes you wonder, doesn't it. Find out more when a peek of Chapter 18 is posted!

Looking for a Commissioner!!!

I'm looking for someone to commission who's art is a bit more realistic. What I commission someone to draw will have to be absalutely perfect since it will be the cover of my book when I get it published. I was planning on drawing it myself, but as you can tell from my drawins I haven't had much experiance making them look real at all and I would rather pay someone to draw it perfectly than try to draw it myself and get stressed out over it and not finish my book. I'm currently on Chapter 16 in Tale of The Curse ~The Pack~ and I only have 22 Chapters in my first book. If I commission someone for the cover of my book, since this will be a series, I will commission the same person for every book I write. So, as you can see, this is not a one time deal. I'll have about 3 or 4 books in this series, but I might make another series based on this one since the twist I have planned at the end would allow it. Also, if commissioned by me, you will get a free copy of the book when it's published and you will get to read it before anyone else ever does to get an idea of the plot to help with the commission. Please message me or e-mail me at leblanckat@aol.com if interested.

Thank you,

A Peek at Chapter 16!

“Are you sure this is what you want to do, Floyd?” James asked after hearing from the others a while earlier. “What if he’s just an ordinary kid?”
Standing at the edge of my bed with my back toward James, I began getting ready for the hunt. “You know that feeling when you’re a wolf and you’re chasing a rabbit and you feel so hungry while chasing your prey? Then there’s the feeling of danger right before a hunter fires his gun while you’re about to get that damn rabbit. That feeling of danger is what I feel when I’m around that kid. I can’t stand even looking at him.” I sighed as I threw on a black tank and fixed the buckle on my jeans. I turned to face James and gazed at him with hate filled eyes. “I hate him.

Who is this "kid" they are talking about? What will happen? Will they find him? Keep posted to find out more!

In loving memmory of Jessie Winterholler...

There is a time for laughter. There is a time for sorrow. There is a time for fun and games. There is a time for storms of pain. There is a time for good time and the bad. But there is also a time for mourning. Tonight I found out one of my best friends from childhood had passed away... I didn' want to believe it when I was told. I still don't want to believe it... I remember when we were little, how I would go over to her house and we would play with Pokemon in the sand box. We would occasionally bicker over who would play with pikachu. We would role play them and make them go on these incredible adventures. We would go across the street and play in the park acting like pirates. There was always a good time with her. On days you felt like crying and wishing the world away, she was always there to brighten your day. I looked up to her in many ways. When she started drawing i would try to out draw her. She was always better than me at it. She was very talented in everything she did. It came naturally to her. She could take the smallest idea and turn it over into an epic masterpiece. The one regret I have is not talking to her more... My graduation back in 2009 was the last time saw her... And now I will never get the chance to talk to her again... Please join me in keeping her and her family in pray. She was and forever will be my beloved best friend, Jessie Winterholler.

A rundown on what is completed.

So far..
Floyd had just turned eighteen and had a party on the night of a full moon, but never realized what it would really mean to become eighteen. His parents ended up locking him in a cellar until they knew for sure he could controle the curse. As soo as he could controle the curse, he went back to his everyday life all while trying to keep it a secret from his friends. However, he couldn't keep it a secret for very long and his friends ended up finding out everything. Liam got super jealous of loyd's cures and caused there to be friction between their friendship. But everything ended up working itself out and Floyd ran for class president. He won class vice president and got to help plan where the class trip would be. He picked London, England in hopes of finding cluse on how to break the curse, but ended up finding some old family members and a new "friend." When they got back home from the class trip, they were told about the hunters. Floyd's parents were taken by the hunters and Floyd went on a rampage. He blacked out then woke up at Jez's house. While there, he stumbled upon a study room and found some hunts on the curse. And now he is faced with the task of completing a test so he may begin the first quest.

That was Chapter 1 through Chapter 15.
This should help fill in some gaps and cure some confussion out there from my previous posts.

Enjoy!!

He is faced with his most challenging rival, himself! Will he be able to pass the test and move on, or will he have to figure out a way to escape without having to risk his life in a stupid test. Stay tuned in to find out more when I continue into Chapter 16!!!
