Not as easy as it looks...

I never thought it would be so hard to write, especially when you’re not feeling good. I just haven’t had the energy to really get up and do anything. And my thoughts just sort of stopped flowing. I keep telling myself that it’s as easy as writing in a journal and all I have to do is sit down and write, but a lot of people out there don’t realize how hard it really is. No one can sit down and write a book or a series in a day; in fact no one can write it all in a week. When I first started to write my novel, I thought I would have it done in a few months since I had it all planned out. But what I didn’t realize is even though I may have it all planned out, there are still things I have to add or change. I’m a woman telling a story through a fictional young man; Floyd. Sure a lot of how he acts is based on me, but he’s still unique in his own way. I base all my characters on people I know or have met, but I still make them as unique as we all are.
I’ve been stuck for the past week on what to do in chapter thirteen. I had to go through and start chapter twelve over again so chapter thirteen would fit in a bit smoother. But I think I know what I’m going to have happen. I sure would like some feedback from those of you who are following my blog. Any ideas or thoughts on how to improve anything would be very much so appreciated. Also, feel free to comment even if you don’t like what I post. The criticism; most would rather not be spoken, I will actually welcome. It will help me improve not only my blog, but my book as well. I want people to want to read my novels since I am writing them so my stories; as crazy as they might be, can be shared with everyone around the world. Just think of it as a story shared around a campfire with a group of friends. I think it will be fun to take you all on the many adventures through my imagination.
Again, I’m sorry my post was a bit late this week. I hope to have another chapter peek posted in the next week or two. I’m hoping to have book one of my series completed within the next few months. Like Rachel Hawkins told me; “There is only one rule to follow; BIC-HAK.” It means: Butt In Chair, Hands On Keyboard.
